Northern Heavy Industries Group Co., Ltd.(NHI) launched "Safety Production Month" series activities
June this year is the 21st National "Safety Production Month", and NHI organized a series of activities with the theme of "Complying with the Safety Production Law and being the first responsible person".
As a backbone large-scale enterprise in Liaoning Shenyang region and heavy equipment manufacturing industry, work safety has always been the bottom line and red line of NHI. During the event, Zhang Bin, President of NHI, received the training from the safety、technology and environmental protection department of the enterprise, wrote and issued a safety production proposal to all employees. He said: "in the various management systems of the enterprise, safety production is a one vote veto item, which is a 'compulsory course' for every manager, including me."
In the production workshop of NHI, eye-catching safety production slogans can always be found. "We hang and post safety production publicity banners, slogans, posters and other publicity materials at prominent positions in the workshop to create a strong atmosphere and constantly remind employees to improve their safety awareness." According to Zhao Zheng, chief of the environmental management section of the safety, technology and environmental protection department of NHI, preventive measures are the basic concept of the enterprise's safety production management. On the basis of improving the system construction, the enterprise has also seriously done a good job in the inspection and supervision of the operation site, organized the troubleshooting of hidden dangers every day, and arranged special personnel to irregularly monitor the production and operation sites of each unit in the production monitoring video room.
It is understood that, as of May 31, NHI had found 49 safety problems in 2022. Through item by item troubleshooting and supervision, all problems had been rectified. According to the <safety management "horse racing" scheme (Trial) of NHI, the safety "horse racing" assessment >shall be conducted on the basic units of the fair every month. In 2022, NHI has carried out 231 major accident emergency plan drills.
Yi Lei, Minister of safety, technology and environmental protection department of NHI, said that in the next step, the enterprise will also organize the collection of production safety accidents, carry out centralized learning and education, educate、warn and promote people with accident cases, and further promote the safety awareness of cadres and employees. At the same time, the company will organize and carry out special training on safety knowledge and skills of all employees, shoot promotional videos of emergency plan drills for work accidents in limited space, carry out various forms of emergency drills, and improve the emergency response and disposal ability of front-line employees in emergencies through practical emergency disposal drills.
"We will take the 'Safe Production Month' as an opportunity to consolidate the achievements of safe production and protect the happy life of our employees." Yi Lei said.
